A Heartfelt Song for a Good Cause
Meet Alicia Rae, a talented singer-songwriter and self-taught guitarist from Washington, DC. This soulful songstress recently launched her latest single called Little Warrior, in honour of her friend, Maddie Grace, a 10-year-old girl who lost her battle with Leukemia in October 2015.
My first listen to this beautiful song immediately evoked emotion in me. The lyrics are so powerful, talking about strength, courage, hope and fearlessness. I loved Alicia’s inspiring message in the song – that no matter what battles you may face, stand tall and fight on with faith and love. The meaning and inspiration behind this song shines through in Alicia’s voice, as she sings Little Warrior like an impassioned plea to someone she obviously deeply admired.
