Hello! I’m Jennifer Traynor and I am a wife and mother living in the suburbs east of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I have two wonderful kids – my six-year-old son who is so smart, quirky and sweet, and my four-year-old daughter who is clever, funny and so affectionate! Life for me in the last few years has been busy! Between having my two babies, I have also been trying to find my way along my career path. I have always loved to write and it’s something that was missing from my life, so I decided to start writing Mama@Heart in 2016.

 

This blog is a place where I open up and honestly share my experiences of motherhood. I won’t bullshit you and I won’t sugar coat. I’ll tell it like it is, or at least how it was or is for me. Every parent and child is different. What’s worked for me perhaps won’t work for others, but hopefully, I can share something that will be helpful or provide some useful insight into parent life. If there’s one thing I’ve learned so far it’s that in the school of parenting class is always in session.

 

While I enjoy writing about life as a mom, I also love discovering new children’s books, toys, and other products and have been thrilled to connect with authors and brands. Not only has it given me the chance to honestly review some wonderful products, it has been a great learning experience and introduced me to some amazing people.
